This privacy policy describes how Swellr collects, uses and protects the personal data you provide when visiting swellr.fr.
We are committed to complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — EU Regulation 2016/679).

3 Data Collected
We may collect the following data:
- Browsing data — anonymised IP address, browser type, pages visited, visit duration. Collected only with your consent to analytics cookies.
- Cookies — small files stored on your device to ensure the site works and, with your consent, to measure audience (see section 4).
- Email address — if you sign up for the Swellr waitlist, we collect your email to notify you of the app launch.
- Beta tester form data — if you register via the "Become a tester" form, we collect: your email, first name, surf level, how you discovered us, and a non-reversible hash of your IP address (abuse prevention). We also log the accepted versions of the privacy policy and tester T&Cs. Data collected on the basis of your explicit consent.
4 Cookies
swellr.fr uses cookies in three categories:

We use Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) to analyse site usage. This service is provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Processing of your personal data is based on the following legal grounds:
- Consent (Article 6.1.a GDPR) — for analytics and marketing cookies, waitlist sign-up, and the "Become a tester" form.
- Legitimate interest (Article 6.1.f GDPR) — for strictly necessary cookies and service improvement.
7 Retention Period
Your personal data is retained for the following periods:
- Browsing data — maximum 14 months.
- Email address (waitlist) — until app launch or unsubscription.
- Tester data — for the duration of the testing phase and maximum 3 years.

Under the GDPR, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability regarding your personal data.
